About My Background

Over 21 years of corporate experience, including around 10 years in leadership roles…

In over 21 years with a global corporation, I have gained insights into a wide variety of business and technical areas and have collaborated internationally with people from diverse cultures. I spent some time in Spain and have been living in France on and off for a few years. I have been working in remote teams since 2012. Over the years, I have implemented various IT systems and processes, including in my roles as a project manager and trainer. Right from the start of my career, I delved deeply into the Toyota Production System and agile methodologies. I’ve also been able to grow personally and professionally through numerous continuing education programs. When I took on my first leadership role in the Global Supply Chain as a greenfield project in 2015, I built and shaped the team from the ground up. Our responsibilities included training, onboarding, change management, and the trainees—Global Accelerator Graduates—whose recruitment and coordination I was responsible for. Since we weren’t particularly satisfied with our first Kanban board, we were one of the first teams outside the production sites to implement Lean Administration as part of a company-wide program. We also established virtual classroom training long before the COVID-19 pandemic.

In my second team, a highly diverse and remote team, I applied Lean Administration as well as various agile methods. In our regular team workshops, I also used team coaching and several elements of the Loop Approach®. As a leader, I took part in the company’s internal training program on Authentic Leadership.

In addition, I worked as a coach for individuals and teams and was active in the internal communities for coaches, team coaches (partly mixed with methods of facilitation and agile coaches), change management, and the Multiplier Network.

All in all, I have gained a rich experience that now helps me better understand my clients' situation and put together the best possible solution for them. I’m based in Munich, but I’m flexible throughout Europe and continue to enjoy working with virtual teams.

What Drives me

I love discovering new things, helping to shape change, and getting creative…

Claudia Winkler, Live up!, Team Coaching, Leadership Coaching, Team Transformation, Munich

In all my jobs so far, helping people and teams grow has always been what fulfilled me the most, seeing how they overcame challenges, developed more self-confidence, and moved through life with newfound ease and energy. That “aha” moment when things click and new confidence and motivation emerge. The strong sense of unity and deep appreciation that arises when teams truly engage with themselves as a team and with their colleagues as people. These moments are deeply inspiring to me and an incredible source of energy.

A few years ago, I discovered my personal purpose: I want to be that first spark that inspires people to believe in themselves and grow.

When I then stumbled upon "Reinventing Organizations", and later "Spiral Dynamics", I began to dream of a broad transformation of companies into evolutionary organizations where people actively shape and transform the workplace with a high degree of autonomy and through self-organization. I myself have always enjoyed taking personal responsibility and driving change for continuous improvement, always with a focus on genuine customer value and high employee satisfaction. Since this is only possible to a limited extent within the constraints of a corporate employment, I ultimately decided to pursue my passion as a self-employed professional.

In doing so, I am guided by the values I stand for:

Why Live Up!?

The journey toward fully realizing one's potential…

Claudia Winkler, Live up!, Team Coaching, Leadership Coaching, Team Transformation, Munich

“Live up!” represents the full realization of potential, both for the organization and for its individuals. I am convinced that this is truly possible only in modern, evolutionary organizations. These organizations are sustainable and resilient because they continuously evolve from within, adapt agilely to their environment, and are based on meaningful, self-organized work. Change is part of their DNA and is not forced from the outside. This is how true high-performance teams emerge through effective, conscious collaboration.

Live up! also stands for personal growth. For self-organization and genuine agility to work, people need to be empowered and enabled to take ownership of their roles and to bring all their talents to their work. Continuous development and learning are essential to build on individual strengths, think and act entrepreneurially, and keep pace with the market. And when people are able to contribute their strengths and take real ownership, something powerful happens almost naturally: intrinsic motivation, genuine high performance and, ultimately, sustainable business success.

I have had the privilege of experiencing and observing this inspiring way of working together in a few organizations myself. Ever since, I have carried the dream that this kind of organization could become the standard rather than the exception. Because although it may sometimes be difficult to imagine, leaders, employees and the organization as a whole can all benefit from it.

There is also a little play on words behind the name Live up! In English, “live up to” means to meet expectations, live up to one’s reputation or rise to a challenge. “Liven up,” on the other hand, means to bring something to life or make it more lively.

For me, Live up! brings these meanings together: living up to our own potential while bringing more energy, life and possibility to the way people, teams and organizations work together.
